Shelf Catalog Terms

Nooks

A home catalog that lives on your own iPhone.

Privacy Policy

Version 1.0 · Last updated 8 October 2026

The short version. We do not collect your catalog. Items, photos and notes are written to this iPhone only, and there is no account, no upload and no third-party analytics in the app.

01

What we collect

Nothing about your catalog reaches us. We do not operate an account system for Nooks and we do not run a server that receives your records. The app has no sign-in, no profile and no synchronisation.

Stored on your device, and only on your device:

02

How your data is used

Only to run the app for you: to show your catalog, to search it, and to lay out the printable sheets you ask for. We do not profile you, we do not build advertising audiences from your catalog, and we do not sell anything you enter.

03

Permissions and why they exist

Each prompt appears at the point you use the matching control, never at launch.

04

On-device processing

Naming suggestions, category suggestions, object outlines and text read from a label are produced by Apple's on-device frameworks. Your photograph is not transmitted for this. Dictation likewise writes only into the field you are editing.

05

Purchases

Sheet purchases are processed by the App Store. We receive confirmation that a purchase completed so the balance can be updated in the app; we do not receive your name, card or address.

06

Retention and deletion

Your catalog stays until you remove it. Delete Account erases items, photographs, spaces and the Sheet balance from this iPhone. Log Out clears the welcome gate and keeps your catalog. Deleting the app removes its storage along with it.

07

Children

Nooks is a household record-keeping tool and is not directed at children. It contains no social features, no public content and no messaging.

08

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version appears at this address with a new date. Material changes will be reflected in the app's App Store listing as well.
